            Sub:  Security Guards – Permanent vacancies – filling up – reg.

            Ref:  1. This Office Notification of Even Number dated 16.11.2009.

                     2. Letter No. DBK/A1/VO/16/2009 dated 19.11.2009 from Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Kottayam.

            As per the Notification referred above the List containing candidates who were found provisionally eligible to be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to be held from 1^st to 3^rd December, 2009 at the Mahatma Gandhi University Stadium was published.  But as per the letter referred (2) above, the Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Kottayam had intimated that there is some anomaly in the List already forwarded and the list needed revision. The Director, Sainik Board, Thiruvananthapuram has also recommended for revision of the List.

            Hence, it is hereby notified that the Notification of Even Number dated 16.11.2009 referred (1) above stands cancelled.  The procedure for the selection of Security Guards on permanent basis shall be taken up afresh based on Notification to be issued in this regard later.

            Memos intimating cancellation of Notification dated 16.11.2009 will be issued individually to the candidates enlisted in the Notification cited.
