Eligibility:- Category A: Professor
Age: Not more than 50 years as on 01.01.2010
Ph.D Degree with first class at Bachelors or Masters level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology
NOTE:-
1. If a class/division is not awarded at BE/ME/Equivalent Degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered as equavalent to First Class/Division. If a Grade Point system is adopted, the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks as per AICTE norms.
2. If the discipline of Computer Science/Engineering/Technology in lieu of “First Class degree at Bachelor’s and/or Master’s level in appropriate branch”, a First Class Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology together with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in any area of Engineering/ Technology will be acceptable.
Experience:
10 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Asst. Professor or equivalent
Category B: Lecturer
First class Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/
Technology OR First Class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology
Age not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2010.
General Conditions:
The appointments against the above vacancies will be made as per the policies adopted by the University regarding Self Financing institutions.

The prescribed application form and detailed notification can be downloaded from the official website of the M G University- www.mguniversity.edu. www.mgu.ernet.in Duly filled in application (2 copies) along with registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for the post of Professor and Rs. 300/- for the post of Lecturer (Registration fee can be remitted at University Cash Counter or DD drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, M G University payable at SBT, M G University Campus branch (70669)) and copies of the documents to prove age, community, qualification, experience etc should reach Joint Registrar (Admn.II), Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills P O, Kottayam, Kerala, Pin- 686 560 on or before 15.02.2010.
