Applications are invited for the post of Principal, University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha, a Self Financing institution under M G University, from persons having qualifications prescribed by AICTE, on contract/deputation basis. The consolidated remuneration for the post will be Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only) per month (negotiable in the case of deserving candidates).
Ph.D Degree (with first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology). In addition, the candidate should be an eminent person in the field.
15 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Professor or above.
Qualification & Experience for candidates from Industry&Profession:
Candidate from industry/profession with Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology and with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph D degree and with 15 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at a senior level comparable to that of a Professor would also be eligible.
Administrative experience in a responsible position.
Not above 60 years as on 01.01.2010
The appointment will be on contract/deputation basis. Retired hands also may apply.
