Dr.Raju K.Thadikkaran is currently the Director of the School of International Relations and Politics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Dr.Thadikkaran joined Mahatma Gandhi University in 1984 where he has been teaching and guiding research since then.
After graduating from Union Christian College, Alwaye, Dr.Thadikkaran pursued higher studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He obtained MA in Political Science from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University and M.Phil and Ph.D from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He worked on the theme International Transfer of Technology to Steel Industry of India for his Ph.D. He has been a recipient of the State Government and Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) Fellowships for research studies.
After graduating from Union Christian College, Alwaye, Dr.Thadikkaran pursued higher studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He obtained MA in Political Science from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University and M.Phil and Ph.D from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He worked on the theme International Transfer of Technology to Steel Industry of India for his Ph.D. He has been a recipient of the State Government and Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) Fellowships for research studies.
Dr. Raju K. Thadikkaran also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Studies in Politics and International Relations, Mahatma Gandhi University, member of the Academic Council besides being the President of the Mahatma Gandhi University Teachers Association. He coordinated two major seminars, one on the theme India and the New Technology Order during 1995 jointly with the MEA, New Delhi; DST,CSIR, and ICSSR, New Delhi; and another on the theme Asia in Transition: Democracy and Development during 2002.
The areas of interest of Dr.Thadikkaran include Intellectual Property Rights, Technology and International Relations and Chinese Studies.
