Specializations: Astrophysics, Applied Electronics, Materials Science and Theoretical Physics -

Eligibility: B. Sc. Degree in Physics with Mathematics as subsidiary with not less than 55 % marks in Part III. (For SC/ST candidates only pass in the qualifying examination is needed)

Admission is based on Qualifying Exam marks (50%), Entrance test (40%) and Interview (10%).

Entrance Test is of two hour duration based on B. Sc. Syllabus with Physics main and Mathematics subsidiary.

M. Phil Physics

Total no. of seats: 10

Eligibility: M. Sc. Degree in Physics with 55% marks. (For SC/ST candidates only 50% marks is required)

Admission is based on Qualifying Exam marks (50%), Entrance test (40%) and Interview (10%).
